Highlight: A great hitting streak that took his season average over .300
Lowlight: After he noticed that he was hitting over .300, the streak ended
1960: .000 avg, 2 games, 1 at-bat
Manager: Bob Elliott. Teammates included Don Larsen, Hank Bauer, Marv Throneberry
Twig pulled a back muscle, and when he told the team trainer about it he heard his manager complaining
about "candy-ass ballplayers." Soon after, he was sold to the Yankees and sent to their
AAA Richmond team.
